Three Bean Salad



Anyone who has been to a summer BBQ or picnic knows how to make this easy Three Bean Salad. Kidney beans, green beans, wax beans, and a tangy vinaigrette dressing are mixed together to make a colorful and tasty salad. The red onion, bell pepper, and fresh parsley give the dish a great crunch and a fresh taste. You can serve this cool salad as a side dish with grilled meats and other classic BBQ foods.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 15 oz green beans, drained
  • 1 can 15 oz yellow wax beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper any color, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

Put the kidney beans, green beans, and wax beans in a large bowl and mix them together

Cut up the red onion, bell pepper, and fresh parsley and put them in the bowl

Add the olive oil, sugar, salt, and black pepper to a different small bowl

Use a whisk to mix the ingredients until the sugar is gone

Pour the dressing over the beans and toss them around gently to cover everything

Put the bowl in the fridge for at least two hours with the plastic wrap on top to let the flavors mix

Give the salad a light stir before serving, and if you need to, add more salt or pepper

This is a cool side dish that you can serve cold at a summer BBQ or picnic

Easy Barbecue Pork Roast

A simple and delicious barbecue pork roast cooked in a slow cooker, perfect for a fuss-free meal.
